Q: Have you ever taken steroids or a performance enhancing drug?

A: No I never taken either steroids or a performance enhancing drug. I do not believe that cheating is the way to gaining success in a sport. If people work hard and beat me than I'll give them credit but if I know that they have cheated in anyway it justs makes me upset.

Q: How do you feel about the Mitchell Report and its repercussions on the game of baseball?

A: The Mitchell Report was a necessary first step in solving the problem of steroids in baseball, but it is and should not be the final step. Many people I believe that have taken or take steroids were not named in the report so they think that they are safe and will continue to use the steroids and continue to taint the game.

Demanding depositions from Roger Clemens, Brian McNamee and the other potential witnesses, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has taken its investigation of steroid abuse in baseball to a significantly more serious level. Instead of staging a couple of hours of political theater, House members are now pursuing a thorough inquiry.
